We have had a great experience at Garner since Heather took over as director. Her and the staff are communicative and do a great job creating a community. The curriculum that they have instated has helped my two oldest children have great, successful transitions to kindergarten.

My daughter always has a blast, still misses her teacher from 2 years ago and talks about things she learned from her. The teachers and Heather Larson especially are so accommodating and warm, rain or shine.

Our daughter had the best summer. She learned, she laughed, she played, and her classroom was so welcoming and warm. We were so lucky to be able to send her over the summer. We would recommend the Gardner School to anyone!

We love everything about this school. It has been a perfect fit for our child, offering structure and self play. They keep the kids busy and push them to explore new things every day. They keep you up to date during the day with what they are doing and are quick to answer any questions. Always caring for our child and other children first and foremost. After a rough transition to his last daycare from a daycare he loved, they were quick to find a spot for us when we were in need of finding somewhere quickly to send him and has been his second home since.

We love all the family engagement! We love all the family events and activities. The teachers have been great and managers are always there to help either any questions. I feel that my daughter has grown so much in her years here at TGS!

Our family loved our experience at the Gardner School of Minnetonka. Not only did they have fun every day, but also completed very enriching activities. Lastly, all the teachers and staff were so great to our family and provided excellent care.

We absolutely love TGS! Our baby is so happy to be dropped off every day and loves her teachers. They have amazing age-appropriate activities every day that help her grow physically, socially, cognitively, and emotionally. The communication is excellent, and we get many updates through the day.

I love that they are so individualized in the baby program. So many other parents I’ve talked to who have their babies in other daycares have had very different experiences. I’ve heard that some programs try to get babies on a uniform schedule right away. Some request that bottles have a certain nipple size so the babies drink faster. TGS, on the other hand, is responsive to what our baby needs and collaborative when we need to problem solve. I also love that they don’t use containers for the babies as our baby has needed a lot of extra floor time to start crawling. The staff are also incredibly communicative and responsive to any questions or concerns we have. I really feel like our baby has a village at TGS.

The moment we were greeted we felt welcome and supported. Heather was warm and inviting. As first time parents the thought of sending our child to daycare was scary and nerve racking. Heather heard our concerns and explained all the procedures and processes with great comfort. We really wish there had been a spot for our child because we would have loved to be part of The Gardner School family. The week prior to our start date we received an email from Kayla that due to two teachers quitting with only a weeks notice we would not be able to start for the foreseeable future. Reaching back out we never heard from Kayla about details and plans with moving forward. That was a very delicate time for us since we were really in a pinch and wished there was a bit more communication at the very least a response to our emails. We had to utilize a different daycare but we appreciated Heather following up later with us.

We absolutely love how caring and attentive the teachers are. They truly make the environment feel safe and nurturing. It’s also clear they’re experts in early childhood education, because our daughter has learned so much since starting! We really appreciate the warm, positive vibe of the center - it feels like a place where kids can thrive.

The school is beautiful and well kept, all of the teachers are professional and friendly, even teachers who aren’t my children’s acknowledge my kids and know their names. I feel confident with all the safety features in place. Most importantly my children are learning so much and they come home happy. I couldn’t ask for more.

The structure. There is an art activity, sensory, book, play time every day. This structure helps him learn and grow and keep him busy. The pictures show how much he is enjoying the different activities every day.
