All the teachers and staff are very friendly. Can tell that my kids enjoy going to school there.
One small recommendation would be to ask the teachers who do not have kids to park their cars towards the back of the lot to ensure there is more open space for parents towards the front door during drop off.
Our 3 year old has been at TGC North Naperville for the past 18 months and we love it. Lot of credit to Ms Erica, Colleen and Julia for managing this center. The teachers are caring and love the curriculum and facilities!
We've been sending our daughter here for the past 4 months and have had nothing but positive things to say! The staff is very friendly and take such good care of her. They are very receptive to our feedback, as well as help us with things they see with her every day. While there is some turnover (as at any daycare), most of the staff has been there for a long time and you can tell they love it!
Very engaging everyday. I appreciate all of the fun activities that my child gets to experience. She is very happy to go to school and never wants to leave. A whole different experience than her previous school. We’re glad that we found you all!
Our kids are so happy at Gardner. Since the leadership changes last year, the school has transformed into an amazing place where everyone is kind, considerate and happy. The teachers all seem to feel supported. We absolutely do not regret our decision to return to Gardner after a brief switch to another daycare.
Every staff member at The Gardner School Naperville North shows such a passion for working with children and helping them to learn and grow. We feel comfortable every day knowing our daughter is being cared for by a team of loving teachers and staff members. We love seeing the daily updates and pictures of what they did throughout the day. Our daughter is excited to go to school every day, which speaks volumes about the care the teachers provide. And she has already learned so much, from her shapes, letters, colors, and numbers to important emotional regulation skills. We are so happy with our experience at Gardner!
Such a welcoming and nurturing environment. I love the collaboration between teachers and parents and watching the relationships grow between staff, child and parent. You feel confident everyone is invested in ensuring the children thrive and enjoy their time at Gardner and that the parents are confident in their children's environment.
I like the caring adults/educators, the fact that everyone in the school seems to know every student in every classroom's name, and the personal attention our child gets.
I love that it feels like family here. The front office staff are so welcoming, kind, approachable, listen, and truly care for and want the best for all of the kids + families!
The friendly staff, Colleen/Julia are great and I feel like she has personal relationships with all the students and families/mom's and dads. I like the open communication and the app - all the responses are timely, the picture updates are great.
I love the school, teachers, and overall communication we receive at TGS. This is the best place for my kids to be while my husband and I work. I know they are in good hands with teachers and staff that love them.
The teachers are wonderful and really care about the kids. The staff/ administration are always quick to respond and super helpful. Every person I've met has been friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. My son loves it there!
First and foremost, Zoey’s teachers (Ms Ava and Ms Shareen, and Ms Susan) are so thoughtful, caring, and creative! It’s beyond comforting knowing our baby is being cared for by people who genuinely enjoy seeing her each day and being part of her growth and development. We really hope Ava and Shareen have long, fulfilling careers in childcare because they are both so unique and talented at doing so, we really feel Zoey has hit the jackpot with her teachers. It’s amazing the activities they come up with for such tiny humans, it’s clear they put lots of time and thought into creatively exposing them to new textures, sounds, sights, and experiences as well as creating positive memories and experiences. One day this summer, they took pictures outside with a mirror, another day they took the babies out for a picnic, they take pictures in groups and make sure there is plenty of time for individual and group activities. We, and Zoey’s grandparents, look forward to the daily photos and updates on the activities they do (in particular for photo Friday). They both go above and beyond when coming up with creative ideas for the month’s theme. They have been great in supporting our little one through her many ear infections, sicknesses, and her swallowing difficulties. Our extended family and grandparents have felt the connection of Zoey and Ms Shareen and Zoey and Ms Ava through the photos and love to comment on how much Zoey loves them both. In addition, Ms Muneeba has been a shining light in Zoey’s experience as well. Her genuine happiness to spend time with her and her friendship with Zoey has been such a positive influence on Zoey. It’s very fulfilling as a parent to see a teacher of a different class be able to build such a bond with our baby! The management is also so wonderful, positive, and supportive! We can tell the employees love what they do and feel appreciated each day at work, it creates a positive environment and atmosphere that I’m sure all the children can pick up on.
The only constructive comments we have would be that, at times, Zoey’s naps seem to fall by the wayside and her wake windows get stretched more than we are comfortable with. However, we understand that it’s challenging to stick to each baby’s schedule perfectly when you have 8 of them in a room! And we also appreciate that Ms Shareen and Ms Ava are usually able to report back details, such as Zoey was seeming happy and playing, that comfort us in knowing they are both watching her for signs of sleepiness and are using their best judgement to offer a nap when Zoey seems ready and not just getting caught up in the days chaos. We would also love to see a bit more details in the handoff between fascination A and B for pertinent information, such as long wake windows, sicknesses to be aware of, etc so that there is a more seamless transition once Zoey’s main teachers leave for the day. We don’t want to add more for Ms Ava to do at the end of her day when she’s the only main teacher present for all the kids so maybe if there is a way to have a little blurb for each child that can be added to as needed with only pertinent information throughout the day that each teacher can access or something of that nature? On that note, it would also be nice to see some consistency in help for Ms Ava after Ms Shareen leaves at 330 so Zoey isn’t always being sent over to Fascination B before 5pm.
All in all, we are so thrilled and honored to be part of the family! Zoey loves going to daycare and is so cared for by all the teachers and staff, that is ultimately all we can ask for as parents! Makes our days away from her much more bearable knowing she is in such good hands and is being treated like family!
