The teachers are warm and attentive, and communication is always clear. My child feels safe and genuinely excited to come to school. The environment is clean, organized, and welcoming, so I feel comfortable leaving my child there. I also like the activities, they’re fun and age-appropriate, with a good mix of learning and play.

We had great experience at the Gardener School Naperville South. Our son started at the school from the infant room (when it was still Compass School) and now is in the preschool program. He loves his school and the enrichment programs. He learned emotional control, problem solving, math and handwriting all from school. He love doing projects, learning and create artworks. Moreover, the teachers truly care. They would provide personalized advise to parents and work together with parents based on individual kid's needs. We were quite concerns with the shift of management but are glad that the school is able to retain the teachers and keep the Reggio-Emilia approach.

The team at Gardner School (Naperville South) is very supportive of our child and her development. They listen to our concerns and requests and are continuously working towards her academic and social growth. My only request for change would be notifying parents of school events about 2 weeks ahead in case we would like to use PTO to attend the daytime activities :)

Our son has been attending The Gardner School of Naperville South for two years, and we are happy with our experience. From day one, the school has provided a warm, structured, and truly nurturing environment where our child has grown academically, socially, and emotionally.
The teachers are exceptional, especially Ms. Jenn, Ms. Kelly, and Ms. Dawn. Their patience, kindness, and dedication shine through every single day. They take the time to understand each child, celebrate their strengths, and support them through challenges. It’s clear that they genuinely care, and our son absolutely loves coming to school because of them.
We have also been impressed with the school’s communication, and focus on safety. The classrooms are clean and engaging, the activities are thoughtfully planned, and the staff always makes us feel welcomed and supported.
After two years, we can confidently say that The Gardner School of Naperville South has been a wonderful place for our son to learn and grow. We highly recommend it to any family looking for a caring and high-quality early education experience.

Overall, we love TGS-South.
My main concern has to do when kids transition to a new class. They develop real friendships and relationships in their classes and then get separated from their friends when they transition. I understand some of this is logistic, but it has happened to my daughter over a number of transitions now. She misses her old friends and I wish the admin would be more mindful of that and really consult with the teachers to see what the friend groups look like before doing so.
Also, we do our best to get in by 9am as my daughter wants an am snack and some of her teachers have not been so accommodating about that - not saving her anything even if we walk in at 8:55, which leads to some hunger and disappointment.
Otherwise, we are very happy with the care our daughter has received at TGS-South. In particular, we love the warm environment that is palpable when you walk in the door and really
appreciate the loving care she has received from her teachers thus far.

We love everything from the meals prepped, to the activities planned, to the teachers and their personal attention and love that they give to our child. We take comfort in knowing that our child has such a great support system when they attend school here. We are forever grateful for all of the teachers specifically Ms Morgan, Ms Clarissa, Ms Vanessa, and Ms Maria.

The Gardner School has been absolutely wonderful for my daughter. This is our second year, and she loves every single day there! The teachers and staff are amazing so caring, patient, and dedicated. The environment is positive, nurturing, and full of energy. As a parent, it makes me so happy to see my daughter excited to go to school every morning. The Gardner School truly feels like a community where teachers, parents, and children all work together. We couldn’t be happier with our choice!

I love how nurturing and engaging the environment is at The Gardner School. The teachers are attentive and genuinely care about each child’s development. The curriculum balances learning and play perfectly, and I’ve seen so much growth in Aslan’s confidence and curiosity. The communication with parents is also excellent — I always feel informed and included.
