We love our teachers - Teacher Jessica & Steph have been at Gardner for 10+ years, and they are AMAZING with the kids. Our child has learned so much already (including letters, months of the year, weather, etc), and he looks forward to going to school. He's made a ton of friends as well!

My two children have attended Gardner School Oak Brook Terrace since they were babies through Pre-kindergarten (January - 2019 thru present April 2025). We have always had good experiences with the teachers, Ms. Brittany, Ms. Rachel and all the support staff. The teachers really care about all of the kids and are passionate about teaching. In particular, Ms. Jamia, Ms. Elizabeth, Ms. Iridian, Ms. Stephanie, and Ms. Jessica have been great teachers to both my children and we respect and admire their hard work and dedication to all their students. Ms. Brittany and Ms. Rachel are always kind and responsive with questions we've asked. We have recommended Gardner School to neighbors and friends in the Oak Brook Terrace area.

First and foremost my kids enjoy going. My daughter who has graduated likes going back to pick up sibling and see teachers again. Staff have always been friendly. I also love seeing aspects of my kids lives on Brightwheel

From the Admin to the Staff, everyone has been so wonderful as we transitioned our daughter from her previous daycare to join Gardner in August of 2024. They have shown patience and kindness as she adjusted to new teachers and making new friends, which only validated our choice to make a change. We also love getting detailed updates on the curriculum during each week, the thoughtful food choices for all meals, and the fun family projects. We feel confident she is being taken care of, learning, and having fun while we're at work. We love Gardner and would highly recommend.

My biggest concern when we sent our first to daycare was that she would be loved. What if she smiled and no one was there to care or see it? It was immediately clear to me that her teachers cared deeply for her, and that is all we really needed from a school. Every class has felt this way. I appreciate the consistency and caring of the staff, including those not directly her teachers who we run into on a regular basis.

Staff is good at communicating the kids' activities throughout the day. I feel that my children's teachers and staff care about their well being on an individual level. I appreciate getting feedback through parent conferences. Our family enjoys participating in seasonal/holiday events.

The Gardner School has really helped to develop our daughter into a wonderful little girl. The care, attention and love at the school is an incredible environment for her to learn and grow in. And grow she certainly does, the ability for her to interact with her peers in a appropriately structured environment has really helped her confidence and her willingness to interact with others.

The Gardner School has been an incredible place for our family! Both of my children have attended since they were babies, and we couldn’t be happier with the care, education, and love they have received over the years. The teachers and staff are absolutely amazing—warm, nurturing, and truly invested in each child’s growth and happiness. It’s clear they genuinely love what they do, and it shows in the way they create a fun and engaging learning environment. They’ve helped our kids build confidence, curiosity, and a solid educational foundation while also making us, as parents, feel supported and involved. The communication from the school is excellent, and the daily updates and photos are such a joy to receive. It’s comforting to know our children are thriving in such a safe and loving space. We are so thankful for The Gardner School and highly recommend it to any family looking for a daycare and preschool that goes above and beyond!
