Our daughter started at Gardner when she was 7 months old and overall it has been a great experience. She loves going to school and loves her teacher. We know there has been a struggle to hire another teacher for her classroom since summer time and recognize the workforce is tough. Although there have been staff shortages we do appreciate how hard the school works to cover shortages and try to keep consistent teachers in her room. Daycare is not cheap and we hope teachers and staff are compensated well for all of their hard work!

There are SO many things to love about TGS Powell! But first and foremost, we appreciate the longevity of the teaching staff and administration. (Including Jen and Carly who welcome every person, every morning, with a big smile from the front desk!) We had previously been at Goddard of Powell and left due to continuous teacher turnover. A school cannot move forward, and progress, with constant turnover. TGS Powell creates an environment where kids feel safe to learn and play because of the wonderful teachers and administrators they employ. Furthermore, the school is ALWAYS clean, communication is above average, the school lunches are well planned, and we know without a doubt, our child is safe and learning EVERY day. Our only request would be to have more evening events for the kids; such as a parents night out each month or every quarter. They do this one time per year around the holidays but it would be great to offer this option more to parents. Thank you for all you do, TGS Powell! We couldn't ask for a better daycare, school, program!

We absolutely loved our time at Gardner! The teachers are so caring and so thoughtful. Staff made it very easy for us, no matter what issues arouse. They always found a quick and easy solution. Also, their emphasis on communication and safety put our mind at ease. Not to mention all the things our daughter learned while she was there! She is ready for Kindergarden and it's a big thanks to Gardner and the teachers there. I would absolutely recommend them for anyone with a little one in need of a daycare.

I love how lovely infant teachers are. Our experience with Ms.Missy and Ms.Lisa has been very positive. Communication is very open and easy either with teachers or admin staff. Kids have a lot of different activities and they find the way to make sure all kids are taken into account, even the youngest ones.

- Admin/faculty are responsive and collaborate on the individual needs of each child and parent concerns.
- The school and classrooms always appear to be clean and orderly.
- One area of improvement would be supporting more staff introductions or putting names to faces for support staff, floaters, or teachers who may switch classrooms intermittently. As a parent it can be hard to remember who I’ve seen before but not formally introduced myself/learned their name. A listing with photos/names online would be helpful or just shared a few times a year etc.

All of it! From the care of the teachers to the friendliness and respect of the admin staff. They go above and beyond with extra activities throughout the year. They are also so accommodating and responsive. It’s amazing that they now provide meals, too! Can’t say enough good things about our experience. Only wish we had moved over to The Gardner School sooner.
