I was incredibly concerned about two things when we made the decision to put our son in daycare: his safety and his development. I was apprehensive about the ability of individuals outside our family to nurture him and make him feel content and safe every day. TGS has exceeded our expectations and we are so happy our son is thriving there.

Everyone has been very kind and caring with my child and made the transition from home to school very easy. The programming is very engaging and my child comes home very happy. The school and classrooms are bright and clean and I feel good about the physical environment.

I really appreciate the kindness of the teachers and how communicative the whole staff is everyday. I love receiving updates and pictures of my daughter, and the team does a great job at stimulating her and making her have a great time everyday.

The teachers and administrators create a warm, welcoming environment. My children love attending school, seeing their teachers, and playing with the other kiddos. Communication is a priority and I’m confident my kids are well taken care of.

We absolutely loved The Gardner School at Union Row! The school is very well run and the kids are clearly loved and cared for. Our son was with Gardner from 6 months old through 14 months old and we were very sad to leave (moved out of DC). They are always on top of communication and activities for the kids, so as a parent I never had anything to worry about. Thank you to TGS for providing such a wonderful experience!

The individualized care, engagement with the children, consistent and clear updates for the parents, and the overall energy of the school is unmatched. I feel such peace of mind sending my baby to TGS Union Row and I recommend it to anyone who asks!

The Gardner School has been fantastic for our family so far. The admins, the staff, and the facilities are all amazing. Sending your child to daycare is not an easy thing to do, but we've been so pleased with how happy our baby is when she's there and how engaging and enriching the time is for her. Everyone on the staff is unbelievably kind, warm, and welcoming. It's been a wonderful experience top to bottom.

Staff and teachers were amazing! They were always super communicative about how our son was doing as well as different events going on and things to plan for. Our son loved being dropped off there, so we knew he felt safe, supported, and loved. It was our first daycare experience, and now we know the standard!! We would go here forever except that we had to move to a new state. I’ve recommended to friends in dc and will continue to do so! We love TGS!!!

We love TGS. We previously had a very bad daycare situation and everything about TGS has exceeded all of our expectations. Miss Becca and Miss Brittany are awesome with communication and just make you feel really taken care of. The teachers here are also outstanding. Our son has learned so much in his time at TGS and I feel so good knowing I am leaving him in the care of teachers who truly love and care for him.

The teachers and directors are all very personable and its clear they genuinely love working with children. The environment feels very warm when you walk in. There is a continuous positive dialogue about our daughter's development and how we can help support what she's learning in the classroom at home. I feel like she's exposed to a variety of activities and lots of love and teaching throughout the day. She clearly enjoys going there as she's usually very happy to be dropped off.

The Gardner school is incredible! We love how caring the teachers are, how interactive the staff are, and the safety of the school. Our 9-month old has so much fun every day with his classmates and teachers they send lots of pictures and notifications every day. We know our son is in great hands and have loved every minute of being at The Gardner School!

I really love dropping my daughter off at the Gardner School (Union Row). I walk away fully reassured she will be safe; she will be loved and she will receive the right level of attention and care. Within a short span of time, my daughter has adjusted so well and I attribute that to the warmth, qualification and thoroughness of the staff, the teachers and management. I really love the community engagement. The facilities are always clean, well maintained. When I walk in those doors, I feel I am in a community that cares for our daughter and we are part of their family. The biggest reassurance for a working mother is to leave one's child at a daycare where things are so good, that I can turn my focus to work and other responsibilities for the day. Gardner is this and more. Further, the daily updates and pictures are such a welcome interruption where I catch glimpses of her day and see her try new things, even at her young age (4 months). I could not have imagined I would stumble onto such an amazing day-home for my daughter. Keep up the good work; dont change a thing!
