The Gardner School of Weymouth is an inclusive and welcoming preschool that offers flexible drop-off and pickup options as well as meals. My son feels safe and happy there. The staff are kind, responsive, caring and nurturing. My son's language, content and developmental skills seem to be thriving and I'm pleased about his progress. There is no pressure for kiddos to move faster than what is developmentally appropriate and the child's individual learning path is honored.
Our daughter absolutely loves TGS Weymouth! The curriculum does a wonderful job of nurturing inquisitive learning through play, and she thoroughly enjoyed her time in the 2s class with her wonderful teachers Ms Mya and Ms Mak. We are so excited to continue her journey in preschool this year.
As we look ahead, we would like to urge the school to prioritize the establishment of a crosswalk on Pleasant Street. While we understand the town has deferred this to the school, the safety of the children and parents is paramount. We strongly encourage the administration to budget for this vital safety improvement as soon as possible
We love The Gardner School! Our son has learned so much, and is excited to go to school everyday. We are so grateful for the environment, staff, and community. There are so many events that incorporate the parents, and it makes it feel we are also a part of their school fun.
Ever since joining the Gardner School, our son has had nothing but positive experiences. We love the community and the feel of a “school” rather than a daycare. The communication is great from the teachers. There is always a clear schedule for the day/month. Expectations are high for their students and we love that!
I love that photos are shared daily.
If possible, I would like to see photos of different activities during the day - most of the photos tend to be 3 photos of the same activity.
(for example - end of summer foam party - we didn't see any photos of that)
Thanks!
The community already created in just a few short months is amazing. Communication with the teachers is great and the curriculum is impressive. Our daughter has learned so much already and it’s so fun to see her growing with her classmates. We are so happy we made the switch to TGS Weymouth!
My 2-year-old son and I absolutely love The Gardner School in Weymouth! From the very first day, the teachers and staff made us feel welcome and cared for. My little one looks forward to going to school every morning—he’s excited to see his friends, play, and learn.
I’m so impressed with how much he’s grown in such a short time. His vocabulary has expanded, he’s more confident around other kids. The classrooms are bright and clean, and I really appreciate how the teachers keep me updated throughout the day with photos and notes.
It’s such a good feeling knowing he’s in a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where he’s learning and happy. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at The Gardner School of Weymouth!
The building is beautiful, the facilities and activities for the kids seem great. Chelsea has been a pleasure to deal with and seems very involved in the classrooms.
Although we have only been with Gardner for a short amount of time (~1 month), I have nothing but great things to say!! We have been SO incredibly thrilled with our experience so far. My son Griffin has a really hard time with daycare drop-offs and his teachers have been so incredible helping him ease into the day, and I have noticed improvement already when dropping Griffin off in the morning. We love Ms Sky and Ms Elis!! I also love how much outdoor/playscape time Griffin is getting each day, which he did not get at his previous daycare. I have also been very impressed by the cleanliness of the facilities!
Thank you so much Gardner School!!
First and foremost the infant teachers are amazing. So engaging and friendly and really feel comfortable leaving my 4.5 month old with them.
We also have an older child in the Preschool program. We left our last school because we were unhappy with how the preschool program was being managed. Our older child seems to be having a great experience. They are excited to go to school again and always have fun things to say about what their day has been like.
I think some of it is that with the school having just opened there is a smaller class size. Which won't be that way forever and that is ok. But being able to transition to a new school with a smaller sized room has made the transition much easier.
Teachers: Caring and compassionate. I love the thought behind the activities for the kids, allowing time for free play as both are important for child's development
Space: love the indoor playscape considering northeastern weather with unexpected rain or snow or extreme heat!
