The culture, environment, friendly staff, management approach, facilities, steam room, exercise classes, racquetball courts, swimming pools and family and cultural events.
I really appreciate the facility itself, as well as the friendships and camaraderie it fosters. However, one major issue with the J is the ongoing problem with the men's sauna. It often doesn't work, which leaves a negative impression. In contrast, I have friends involved with various sports clubs who have never experienced similar issues with their saunas.
I love the atmosphere and the people at the J. I continuously refer people to the J as a fitness center because it's not your typical gym crowd and the conservative attire requirement keeps the young kids out of the gym.
