I was first attracted to the program because it had a fixed start and a fixed end date. 10 weeks is a long time, but after being out of a workout routine for so long, I needed the idea of working within a "season", as in a sports season. And, coming in under an hour, I can endure any workout for just one hour a day!
My transition into the program was a bit rocky, I had a tough time admitting my shortcomings (injury limitations) and some of the instructors were more adept with modifications than others. But, I found my way.
My instinct is not for a big "rah-rah" place, but the genuine connections I made were wonderful. And Marisol's enthusiasm and exuberance are irresistible - I want to "win" the workout for her! Robert's care, strong workouts, and humor amidst sweat are greatly appreciated. He's a guy who cares about what happens under his roof.
I was planning to workout and scram. And, we do. But I'm working out with this wonderfully diverse group of folks who have become my cohort. It's a great way to begin the day.
I love the group of people that I workout with. They are so motivating and supportive! Tamasia is outstanding! I look forward to Tuesday’s and Thursday’s with her! I had gym memberships and never went. I get my butt out of bed at 4:15 every morning to make it to my 5 a.m. workout five days a week! I am taking control of my health so that I can be around for my kids! I am moving in the right direction!
First and foremost, I love the support. It’s not a gym, your not just a membership!!! All the instructors at the max in west orange, really want you to succeed on your journey! I’m so glad I took the leap and joined! Best decision I ever made when it comes to putting me first and believe me I tried many!!! Love my max of West Orange and by the way this was my first challenge!!! You will not regret it! I can finally do a one minute plank and when I started 12weeks ago I couldn’t last 10 seconds!!!! That’s a victory for me!!!
