There is one single factor that makes the idea of leaving the Nest in Rocky River a nonstarter.
The people taking care of my daughter so clearly love her. It is so apparent and has been from the start that they truly care about these children. I am not sure how this culture is created - but I hope you continue to make a strong effort to maintain it. Turnover is inevitable in childcare - but the nest has maintained a strong consistent base of teachers and I really appreciate everyone who works at the school.
The teacher are so good with the kids. my child has been attending there for the past two years and he's about to start preschool, but they have a preschool program and I actually left from there because the teachers are so good with them.
Great teachers, love the director, assistant director and all supporting staff. They always provide updates and communicate with me. My child is happy and her teachers take great care!!
I like how the teachers are very understanding I have a school-ager who attends for summer camp and they actually talk to the children and work with the children. As we all know at the school age level the kids are going through a lot of changes emotional things puberty and what not and they talk and listen with each child and make each child feel like they belong!
Each teacher greets my child with a smile or a hug, and seems genuinely happy to see him when he comes in. I appreciate the photo updates, and their understanding of special circumstances when needed. I appreciate the extra minutes they take at the end of his day to let me know how he is doing, and I feel that they truly care about my son.
The teachers seem to really care about each child, and the special fun they organize (Jungle Bob, water days etc) is priceless. We always know our child had fun and is learning so much, we can se it in her vocabulary and things she notices on the daily.
We have two children at the Nest Rocky River and absolutely love it. Our older child has learned so much and is getting more social, smart, curious by the day. Our younger child has received great care and we look forward to seeing how they blossom, too.
One concern - the linens and rug in the infant room should be changed routinely. The rug is well worn and the cloth bibs are extremely tattered and smelly. My child smells like the sour bibs every day when they come home.
The teachers and the staff truly care about the children and their growth. I'm going to miss them all when my daughter leaves for kindergarten! But we're right across the street so we'll be back to say hi...
My daughter used to cry every single day for over a year when I dropped her at her old daycare. I switched her to The Nest and after day 1, my daughter hasn’t cried one day since! She loves The Nest and they teach her and do hands on activities and have a set routine and schedule. I could go on and on, they have been amazing and I will definitely recommend all!
The teachers and staff are amazing!! Even the ones who rotate in at the end of the day, know my daughter well.
Also I love the updates and pictures through the app to see through my workday how my baby is doing.
