As soon as you walk in you feel like you're stepping into a yoga retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The lobby area is designed in a very bohemian way and is super relaxing. Pair that with the gorgeous practice space with floor to ceiling windows looking over the Trinity River and you've got a yoga paradise in the heart of Fort Worth. Stacy led a challenging yet peaceful class. As the website said, I definitely felt wrung out afterwards! It felt amazing. If I am ever in Fort Worth again I will definitely be stopping by and I will be recommending this studio to all of my friends in the area!
The Yoga Project has all the amenities a person might need before, during, and after a workout. I've found everyone to be friendly and non judgmental. The instructors are patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and consistent. They help make practicing there fun and relaxing. Thanks for keeping me healthy and centered y'all!!! -[NAME REMOVED]
My first class at TYP was everything I needed and more. Suzanne welcomed me and checked me in. Rachelle (classmate) very graciously introduced herself and made me feel at home. The temperature was comfortable as I had never practiced in a warm room before. I felt challenged and relaxed at the same time and purchased the intro package before leaving. I am registered for tonight's class and have a goal of attending 2-3 classes per week. My daughter is beginning her senior year in high school and my anxiety is getting the best of me. I would like to use yoga to center my thoughts and feelings in order to enjoy this exciting time for my family. Thank you!
I enjoy the Fort Worth studio. The view to the river and even along the side to the food truck park is a change of pace from previous places I attended.
The staff is very supportive and each person wants to, at the very least, recognize who is coming to practice for that session. Everyone is approachable and happy to answer questions ranging from class purchases to helping someone who has trouble with a certain pose.
In class, the instructors again are very supportive and either through voice direction or gentle assistance help individuals achieve their goal(s) in class.
Finally, I attended a communication workshop with Loren last month and found that experience to be good for me. I was not sure what I was leading myself into but found that others were curious as well and we all benefited from the workshop.
I love that the place feels like home. All of the teachers do a great job and each one offers something different and unique to the flow. Some studios try to be too trendy and fall short with providing a feeling of realness. The Yoga Project does not fall short in providing a family like feeling.
It is truly welcoming of all skill levels, backgrounds, and abilities. I have always felt welcome and have never felt uncomfortable. Jan is fantastic and really goes above and beyond to make sure that you feel welcome and confident in your abilities. I came to TYP with only having done yoga videos and I have been so grateful for the staff here to encourage me to do my best.
Friendly yoga instructors, very clean yoga studio, nice variation during the yoga class (not just the same few poses every time), cold towels at the end of the class are always a bonus! Great spot - love this place :)
