Cleanliness, calm design, spiritual ambiance, spacious beautiful room (lavender is the one I was in), lovely instructor of the Yin Restorative Yoga Class on Sunday, friendly front desk, $39 intro package. conveniently located to my home.
Alanna was wonderful and gracious and her practice was terrific. I guess I just expected that when an event is to start at 6 at least the studio would be open at that time and we wouldn't have to wait outside in the rain. It all seemed a bit disorganized in the beginning. Not such a big deal for some perhaps, but we came from pretty far and I received a confirmation email suggesting that if we didn't arrive by 5 minutes to 6 our spot might be given away! Standing out in the rain in front of a gated studio we thought we had the wrong location! It could have been a bit more welcoming, I think. But again, it was a pleasure to meet Alanna.
The atmosphere is [LAST NAME REMOVED] longer about yoga. It's about fitness. There is a big difference. I do not enjoy yoga classes with loud music and hearing the bar teacher in the next room yelling to the class. The class I'm in I can barely hear the teacher queuing from the music playing loudly. This is not yoga I want to practice and is not yoga that supports connecting spirit body and mind.
Thanks for asking.
