Customer Review for Thompson Gas
I had a great experience with Thompson Gas recently and wanted to share it. I called to check on propane prices and learned about their new “pay-as-you-go” program. It turns out, if you allow them to connect a small cellular device to your tank’s meter, they’ll automatically refill the tank as needed—no more running out or trying to plan a big fill-up.
Even better, they credited me for the gas already in my tank and switched me over without any upfront payment. I just pay monthly for what I use, plus a $5 device fee (which replaces the annual tank rental I used to pay). The cost per gallon is also lower in this program, which was a pleasant surprise.
As someone who’s used to budgeting for a large propane bill all at once, this new system is far more manageable. The peace of mind knowing my tank stays full without me having to call is just icing on the cake. Highly recommend looking into it if you’re a Thompson Gas customer.
I don't see or interact with the propane driver. Thompson does their job of filling my tank when it reaches 32%. Then I pay the bill, voila, good service feedback.
