The Y.M.C.A. is a wonderful site to exercise. Its family atmosphere is very cohesive for wanting to spend time there working out.
One suggestion: In the men's room, if a mirror could be installed in the 90 degree corner would be greatly appreciated. Many times one cannot see someone coming from the dressing area, which causes a near-miss between the two people.
I love the variety of activities at D R Semmes. Any given day theres always an activity or two to keep you moving to better health. Thank everyone there that makes this happen.
A suggestion if it’s possible to put a big screen in one of the studios and have virtual exercise classes run all day. That way there’s more timeframe availability for classes too!
I love the yoga strength classes. Beth and Nicole are awesome! I’ve taken yoga for more than 20 years from a variety of instructors, and these classes are the best. Each lesson is unique and challenging. I’m learning new poses and developing strength.
I am a senior woman and love playing pickleball with my family. It is disappointing when the pickleball courts get reserved for high level players and there isn’t enough courts left for us to get our time in.
As a new member at the 1000 Oaks YMCA my first impressions are it is a well equipped and maintained facility used by a wide variety of members in the San Antonio Texas community. My wife signed us both up for a "senior" exercise class which is definitely giving us a workout. We have also started to try out the pickleball courts where current players have been very welcoming and encouraging.

Melissa and Graciela are the best Zumba instructors I've ever had! Graciela with her passion and Melissa with her wild spirit and quirkiness are phenomenal.
