It took me about a year before I really started meeting people in the classes and then another six months before I started meeting even more people. It’s really motivational to see people that you know and have been in different challenges with. I like the semi monthly challenges, sometimes it can be a little awkward to meet somebody new when you’re doing bag work together, but then you recognize them and say hi in future classes. I think title Boxing Oakland does a really good job recognizing new people and milestone achievements, which is really important. I like all of the instructors and think they all have something unique they bring to the classes.
