Supportive environment. Only drawback is men need to be reminded not to prance around the gym in states of undress (shirtless). They should change at the lockers or in the restroom, the floor is not a locker room. It makes the women uncomfortable and adds a toxic masculinity vibe.
The staff are super helpful, friendly and really go out of their way to help. The teachers I have experienced so far are amazing. The prices seem to be ok and there have been helpful financial deals.
Coach Galia is an experienced coach and teaches the techniques in a way that is easy to understand. The class is designed to learn and improve our boxing skills. I have been a member for years and am still learning the best of boxing.
I love this club! The coaches are great and classes are so fun. My favorite part about this club is the community. Most people know each other and the coaches are great about encouraging you to meet the people around you. Attending the classes is always a highlight of my week.
Title Boxing Oakland is organized, clean, and has some great trainers (Bryon, Ron, Gilbert, etc) doing boxing & kickboxing. You can also buy private lessons if you want to work on your technique.
Great coaching and very challenging workouts. Learn defensive moves and proper boxing techniques. Also a very cool environment with down to earth people ! Loving the experience and boxing skills I am learning
Title Oakland is a wonderful, positive community for boxers of all skill levels. Boxing can be intimidating, especially when starting out, but there's no judgment here at all. Community members are supportive of each other and the coaches are amazing champions for their people. Coaches are also incredibly respectful of people's limits. If someone needs to go slower or take a break because of injury or fitness level, there's no judgment, only positive reinforcement. Title Oakland is the best!
