My barber, I believe his name was Queshean? Sorry if I am spelling his name incorrectly. He was brilliant, he was patient and listened to my request and executed it without any frivolous chit chat but still remained in a pleasant mood throughout the experience. I appreciated the extra time he took to make sure the cut was right given Tommy's high prices.
Firstly I thoroughly enjoyed that there was no pushy salesperson asking if you wanted a haircut or not, just a simply computer screen on the wall with a sign stating sign in here or something rather along those lines. Simply follow the prompts and done the system tells you roughly when its your turn, also the staff call you to advise your time slot is approaching or they finished the previous person quicker and now they are ready for you. You then approach the front counter and state your name and they walk you in to the main hairdresser section not without asking you if you would like a drink firstly which is wicked, you then sit in the chair the barber comes out and executes the style you asked for but its the little things that they do which so many others don't. Simple things like shaving your neck and applying a hot towel after, the styling of your hair with wax and other products to leave you looking great with the type of haircut you just got. And the value for money is not that bad either I mean a simple cut costs you about $49.95 that's not bad for all the perks you get so yer would definitely recommend them to anybody wanting a great haircut and service.
The personal attention to knowing if I was getting the right haircut as per the requirements I had shown to the hairstylist. Qeeshan was amazing at his job and kept asking me if I would like to make any changes to the haircut to suit my needs.
The haircut was done in a professional manner and wasn't rushed. I came back because my girlfriend didn't like I had too much fringe so I got a quick trim for free. Very friendly staff and Tommy gun will most likely be my go to hairdresser
I walked into Tommy Guns with a majestic mullet and walked out with a glow-up that deserves its own slow-motion montage.
Sonia took one look at my “business in the front, chaos in the back” situation and handled it like a true hair whisperer. She didn’t just cut my mullet off — she gave it a respectful farewell and then upgraded me to a style that says “cool and confident” instead of “lost a bet in 1987.”
The vibe in the shop was great, the service was smooth, and Sonia somehow made the whole process fun instead of mildly terrifying (as major haircut changes usually are). Precision, skill, and just the right amount of sass — 10/10.
If your hair has a past you’d like to move on from, Sonia is your redemption arc. I left lighter, fresher, and about 37% more handsome. Highly recommend.
