Our first experience a few weeks ago was not great. This time we got Chad as a barber and he was fantastic! He listened and we ended up with a great cut that my 13 year old grandson loves
Being new to town, I was after a new barber, which I take seriously. Chadi was great, listened to what I wanted and delivered. Great customer service and skills.
The barber I had at Woodgrove mall in Nanaimo B.C. was awesome and very professional. She did not rush and she did a great job. I believe her name was Danny but I’m not sure if that is right. Either way I will definitely recommend Tommy Gun to everyone
Chadi was a good technician, as far as a haircut goes. But! His station was littered with a lot of black curly hair. I had to wade through the hair to get to the seat. He noticed that I was looking at the fallen hair and asked me if anything was wrong. Well, there’s old clumps of hair all over your station! He said that the vacuum wasn’t working. He then assured me that he was clean, pointing to the gloves on his hands, his countertop and his tools. Okay Chadi, “are you good”? Yes, I’m good, are you? I didn’t know what he meant by that comment. I just assumed he was being defensive and was laden with testosterone. About 15 minutes into the haircut a co-worker swept up most of the hair with a broom, except for the piles of hair below my feet and in front of the counter. Why couldn’t a broom be used before you welcome the next client? Instead of the “broken vacuum“ excuse? And he forgot the offer an eyebrow trim! I eventually took care of the eyebrow trim at home later, not a big deal.
