Pro: Good swim coaches who are actively engaged with the kids
Con: Would prefer smaller swim classes of 4 swimmers, would like them to be more reponsive in answering phone calls or emails.
There used to be a problem with having enough free weights on the ground floor, but that is no longer an issue. Thank you so much for properly stocking the free weights in that area. The new paint job looks nice, too.
Although I have not attended the counseling sessions offered by the Y I love that you have them. The staff at the Townlake location is great. I love the gym!
I love that you have Pickleball, I see that you have an advanced class now, which is great. Because I’m not in advanced and I don’t want to play with the advanced players. And there is an open play. you used to have a beginner time slot, not many showed up. So that was canceled. there needs to be an intermediate class or 2.0/2.4. Sometimes these advance people don’t want to even give up their court during open play, to let other people play.
I love the pilates and yoga classes. All the instructors are great and there is always something for everyone. Every class feels accessible and welcoming while also providing different levels of challenge. Amanda, Q, Elizabeth, and Kymberlie are my favorite instructors! I always know the “why” behind the movements and exercises I am doing which helps me stay invested in my health and growing my strength. I love the diversity of everyone at the Y as well, I feel comfortable being myself and trying out anything. The front desk staff is always welcoming and kind, especially Ruvi! I love the Y!
