The service we received was exemplary. They did a great job diagnosing the issue (which actually saved us $$) and worked through the challenges of obtaining a back-ordered part while keeping us informed of their progress. I should also note my bike is not a Trek but the maintenance was traced to a Shimano part. Its very clear Trek Bicycle Broomfield are very skilled technicians, their love for biking is evident, and their communication was very thorough and timely.
Now, people ask me, they say, 'Hey, what do you like about the products and services at Trek Broomfield?' And I tell 'em... listen, you want a bike that works, right? You don't want to be halfway up Marshall Mesa and have your derailleur decide it’s actually a decorative ornament.
So I go see Gary and Co. Now, some call them a service tech. But really, there more of... well, they’re all artisans over there. You look at the rest of the team and you realize these fellas have a level of devotion that’s rare these days. They’ve got that look in their eyes... it’s the look of a person who’s spent their Saturday climbing 4,000 feet into a Boulder headwind and loved every miserable second of it.
It’s a beautiful thing, really. Every time I get my bike back, it runs so smooth I start thinking I’m actually athletic. Which, if you’ve seen me, is the greatest trick since Houdini. It’s top-notch service from people who treat a simple tune-up like they're restoring a masterpiece. If you go anywhere else, well... you’re probably the kind of person who buys a mountain bike just to ride it to the Whole Foods. Don't be that person.
The Trek techs didn't blink when presented with a 20+ year old L.L.Bean-branded bike. It's currently running better than new. When they wheeled it out, it was so clean and shiny that I swear I heard a Hollywood sound effect twinkle. Holy cow, Batman! Thanks!

If you want to experience the polar opposite of the "sea of misery" found at a big-box retailer like Walmart, go to Trek Bicycle Broomfield.
The difference in atmosphere is night and day. While some stores feel like a grind for the employees, the team here actually seems to enjoy their lives and the work they do. It’s rare to find a shop where the staff is consistently in such a great mood, and it makes the whole experience much more inviting.
Beyond the vibes, these folks actually know their stuff. They aren't just reciting a sales pitch; they are riders themselves who use the bikes and components they sell. That firsthand experience with the gear makes a huge difference when you’re looking for honest advice on parts or a new setup.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants expert service from people who are genuinely happy to be there.
They do the work correctly and to completion. I tried to use a bike mech (Derby Bikes) that is but a mile from my residence and more convenient, but the last 2 tune-ups I paid for there ended up being junk. It is worth driving an extra 9 miles to The Bear where I bought my Trek in order to have bike work done well and to my satisfaction.
The service provided by Scott was 10/10. Could not ask for a better experience. He had excellent rapport with my 8-year old son, Ryder. Not only is my son excited about his new bike, he also felt very good about the whole in-store experience.
Very knowledgeable about my bike, nice, supportive staff. Would be nice if they would carry a few other options than just Trek/Bontrager products for the bike.
Trek Broomfield has the best crew—always very helpful and knowledgeable. They have been servicing my bicycles for several years—even my non-Trek bikes. Recently I’ve been looking for a small e-bike (I am quite short and hard to fit). While no Trek bikes fit me, Scott was instrumental in helping me find another brand that does fit. That’s just great customer service.
I've always had a good experience with this store. They know what they are talking about and make excellent recommendations. They are my go to for products and questions. I never feel pressured for purchases. I like the laid back approach and they are easy to talk to about my bike.
staff there is always responsive and helpful. I had some stuff done on my bike and needed a little help getting fully set up on my trainer (which I purchased elsewhere)
