I live much closer to other bike shops, but the Trek store in Columbia has a great team that seems to work well with one another, and they are always upbeat and friendly and welcoming to current customers as well as new ones (from what I observe anyway). It’s unfortunate to hear that the bike fit guy (Retul) has packed up and left, hopefully Trek is working on starting it up again, as it was a great asset to be able to dial in to your bike. The staff I dealt with during my most current visit, last week was great, listening to what I wanted done with my bike. Even though it’s an extra 30-45 minutes drive from bike shops closer to me, I prefer to make the longer commute to the Columbia Trek store. Very professional, and knowledgeable, and working together as a team.

Very knowledgeable staff and they didn’t “dumb-down” explanations of services to me. I greatly appreciated the phone call about any proposed add-on necessary work before being done. Also, both the technician and the gentleman at the front desk were very nice and very helpful with all questions I had, including questions about a bike rack fitting/bit fitting my car.

My wife and I have purchased Trek bikes in the past and we've been very pleased with them. When it came time to buy my gravel bike, I knew I wanted to try out Trek's line first. Gwen was the store associate who assisted me and she was really helpful and informative. I appreciated the Columbia, MD store setup and the large selection of bikes available for test rides. The store location next to a neighborhood was also ideal for test riding. My wife came along because wanted to buy some replacement gear (gloves, seat bag) and found what she needed at the store.

Absolutely first class service, repair, upgrade, etc. Repair and product availability and quality is honest and accurate. Knowledge of staff in answering questions is extensive with no pressuring in offering alternatives and addition; in other words, knowledgeable and respectful; definitely my go-to, friendly and comfortable destination for any cycling needs.

We had a “time” at Trek Bicycle in Columbia MD today. However, Paalo was the one who saved the day. It takes a special person to have patience in a store with kids and this venture was no different. Thank Paalo for facilitating our trade in for a new bike!!! No training wheels, 20 inch, brakes, and pump! We have a winner. Very happy mom and son!

Staff is professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Always available to take an extra second to help teach and talk through whatever issue your bike is experiencing. Aside from weak legs… they aren’t magicians! Top shelf all round!!!!
