I recently took my Electra E-Bike to the Grosse Pointe Trek store for a tune-up and new tires. Unfortunately, after spending \$188, I quickly realized the service was poorly done. While out riding, I got a flat tire—not because of a nail or debris, but because the tire had been put on incorrectly. On top of that, the tune-up I paid for was never actually completed.
After that disappointing experience, I decided to take my bike to the Detroit Trek store. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly, treated with respect, and had all my questions answered. The staff didn’t just patch things up—they fully corrected the pulling issue, properly fixed my tire, and truly took care of my bike. The difference in service was night and day.
It saddens me to hear that the Detroit Trek store will be closing, because this is exactly the kind of place every rider deserves. Jason Hall is an outstanding manager who goes above and beyond for customers. If you want your bike serviced the right way, this was the store to go to.
I bought a bike for me and a second for my son. Great service by one guy, even though they were very busy. Friendly shopping experience with the sales guy AND his customers! He installed my accessories for me. Hire him in another store after the Detroit store closes!
Jason Hall is not only a Great representative for Trek. He Treats the Detroit Bicycle Family with Support and Kindness. He gives to Detroit Bicycle Community 100%. everyday. Jason will be missed at Midtown Detroit Trek Store.
Very personal.clear, and concise.. They give sound advise and the service is remarkable.. I have learned a quite a bit about bikes…I plan to attend a clinic next time it is offered.. A nice selection of bikes that go on sale year round.. I must return soon.
Friendly, knowledgeable service. Quick turnarounds for repairs whenever it's possible. Great bikes! Always willing to help us learn about our bikes, how to take care of them, etc. GReat accessories. Just a great store all-around.
