What’s not to like when it comes to Trek/Kuat! My Trek Verve+3 is awesome. Love the ride. Kuat racks are very accommodating for many vehicles.
Kole at Gig Harbor was very thorough from the beginning to end! Followed up personally with a phone call. Before I even purchased which was very impressive.
I needed the proper rack for the RV! Kole took care of that. He made sure I had everything for the road. Thank you. And thank you to the whole Gig Harbor shop. Ride on.
Very friendly and supportive staff. I came in knowing what I wanted. They didn't push me to spend more or upgrade. They wanted me to make sure it was what I wanted by testing it. Gave lots of great advice. Helped talk through servicing a different bike I had. Great service!
I had the pleasure of working alongside Kole, the store manager for the duration of my purchase. I had initially planned to purchase a discounted bike, but unfortunately the fit was a bit small. I really respect the honesty and knowledge that was shared with me in finding my right fit. Kole could have just as easily sold me a poorly fitting bike, but he took the time to allow me to demo a different size; with a variety of stem lengths to get my perfect fit. I have been to several bike shops looking at this bike, and no one has taken the time to help me dial in my fit to the degree that Kole had- something that wasn't easy as I'm between sizes. He even lead me through some local trails to test out the bike. I was able to walk away with my dream bike; and the team at Trek Gig Harbor took the time to ensure that it fit my needs both physically and financially. I am so grateful to them; and while there may be other, larger trek stores in the area; I would come back here every time knowing that I'll be well cared for.
Thanks so much Kole and team!
Cole was great to work with in the purchase of my new bike. He made the process of finding and purchasing a new bike easy. He listened, he rode with me, he made it happen. Last August, I went over my handlebars on a steep descent due to a number of small factors that were enough to tilt the scale toward the accident. Cole found a Madone SL7 that is amazing! Back on the bike, riding with friends, what else could be better? Thank you, Cole!
Great support when I needed essential bike repairs in the middle of a bike ride. Ryan was able to do necessary repairs in a timely manner so I could complete my ride. Thanks Ryan!
I am right now without an adequate vehicle to bring my bike to the shop and they came to my home and did pick up for repairs. Bike was ready in the evening and they dropped it off. Great service!
I stopped in, unscheduled, as I was heading out on a Mt. Bike ride with my son and the valve on my tubeless tire was leaking. I wish I could remember the young mans name, but he got my bike right on the lift, analyzed the issue (which turned out to be a defective core of the valve), replaced the core, pumped up the tire, and due to his timely, and outstanding, customer service, I was on my way to Gateway park (Project 360 trails) for a fantastic ride with my son. I couldn't believe that he only charged me for the price of the valve core, which was less than a cup of coffee.
As I was waiting, I walked around and they had some really nice bikes in stock, and after my truly fantastic experience with getting my valve fixed, I can only imagine that this same outstanding customer service would be there when looking to select, and purchase a new bike, so I would definitely take the time to work with this shop if I was in the market.

I've only had a minor repair done in 20 + years, so no recent experience since Old Town.
I woke up this morning thinking the place needed: a young, 20-30 + woman bicyclist in sales, and to brighten the place up, my memory is of a dark man cave feeling.
Women add a valuable attitude and engaging element for men and women like, often prefer, talking with a like minded bicyclist.
And unless she's into Goth, she'll certainly have some ideas about brightening the place up.
I'm glad we've had a name brand, reliable bike shop in town for 40+ years, and wish Trek continued success.
If you do hire a woman think about getting another woman involved in that selection process, not just "the guys".
