Manager was the only one in the store (mechanic was out sick) and there were 4 customers there when I arrived. He apologized for the wait and when he was unable to repair my tire right away and I had to leave my bike and come back later in the afternoon to pick it up. I was surprised to be notified that the repair was done so soon after I left (just arrived home when I received notification. I received a discount on the repair because I had to make two trips. This is what customer service is all about. Thank you!
Very personable and professional staff. My wife test rode a Townie e-bike and we purchase it. Very nice bike. Alex provided a very thorough and understandable explanation of all the bike’s features. It was an exact fit for what we had been hoping for. Alex and Mark were great to work with. I came with a bike rack, but it was raining, so Mark delivered the bike to our home. Top level service!!
While we all know that Trek makes great products, what follows is the sales knowledge and the service provided once the decision has been made to walk through the doors of a local bike shop. Trek of Grand Ledge with its two-man show is well organized, stocked with options, and doesn't have a turnaround time that will have you watching the leaves change. Mark and Alex are eager to help with purchasing decisions, troubleshooting service needs, and repair/replace options that satisfy unforseen mechanical and ergonomic findings down the trail. I have had great conversations with both Mark and Alex about cycling and the community of it, along with technical details of tire design to nutrition and riding gear. This is a shop that cares and demonstrates that the second you arrive on the other side of those front doors. Highly recommend with confidence!
