Considering the purchase of an e-bike? I have bought two, both from TREK LANCASTER. In each case, the staff was professional and took the time to ensure proper model and fit. If they did not have the bike that was right for me, they would make suggestions and order the right model. Installing accessories, ie - rear view mirror, radar tail light, thru the spoke frame mounted lock was easy. Service after the sale is exceptional! I always take my bikes in once per year for service to keep them in tip top shape. The service recommendations are always reasonable, thorough, and ensure utmost safety. I travel from York to Lancaster to seek out the products and service that TREK LANCASTER offers, and have been a happy customer for 10 years. I highly recommend TREK LANCASTER for your biking needs. I had been reading and thinking about the trend towards wider tires for some time, when a blown rear tire provided an opportunity. Matt at Trek Bicycle Lancaster discussed the various options for new tires on my 2011 Montare hybrid that would be suitable for both gravel and pavement. With his advice I opted for Bontrager H2 hard-case lite tires in the 45mm width. They were installed the same day, and the next day I went for a 15-mile ride on a gravel trail. I had expected an improvement, but the difference is truly extraordinary. The ride is not only a lot smoother, but significantly faster as well. Matt also discussed other technological improvements in gravel bikes. I’m not ready for a new bike yet, but I was happy to learn about the cost/quality trade-offs directly from a rider-technician.

George was amazing! I previously bought from TREK many years ago. I wanted to buy the same bike because it was comfortable. George found a discounted bike similar to my old one and outfitted it with a water bottle, odometer, and kickstand in minutes. I was able to leave the Lancaster store with my new bike and ride that day. George accepted my old bike to donate to CommonWheel. That made it really simple to pass this bike that was so good onto someone else else.
