I never considered an ebike until my wife got one. I was riding a mountain bike on the trail near our home. It has a few steep hills and I was struggling to get up those hills. My wife persuaded me to get one. I wound up with the Townie Go 7S. My wife has the 7D. It's just a lot of fun riding these bikes. It makes me feel like a kid again. The steep hills are no problem; I just increase the level of assist and maybe hit the throttle a time or two. Many thanks to Robert and Luke and all the great people in the Lee's Summit, Missouri Trek store. Their service and assistance is second to none.

Took an estate sale bike into Lee’s Summit, Mo Trek store as it was having derailleur issues. After 10 days or so, Luke brought out my bike…OMG! That ‘90’s Bianchi Grizzly looked like it was fresh off the assembly line! Even the other customers in the store paused with a palpable..”Oh my!”. Travis did a phenomenal job. He said the grease in the derailleurs had all but carmelized. He got all the parts cleaned and working as they should. This is the fourth bike I’ve brought to these guys….love them. Luke still calls me “Dan” but he’s a work in progress.

While I feel like an idiot entering a bike shop, the people there are kind, welcoming and informative of their products with low pressure. Other shops tend to ignore us non-bikers assume we know what we are looking for; so I appreciate the help. Great experience at Trek LS.
