Greg & Corey did an AMAZING/AWESOME job for my son and I! We came in with an old damaged/broken bike our family bought from here roughly 9 years ago (this used to be my older sons bike when he was a kid). Both kids were very hard on that bike though, so after it broke I brought it in wondering how much it would cost to fix. Of course the damage was beyond the cost of new, so I figured we would just get Gabe his own kids bike for the same price. Nothing fancy, just the same size/model as the one we were originally wanting to fix. Unfortunately, Gabe already outgrew the kids bikes (He's pretty tall for an 8 year old). So we started looking at the next size up (the XXS & XS adult bikes), he even got to test them out and ride them in the store! I was a little concerned about the price because I wasn't fully prepared to spend an extra $200-$300 more than the cost of the kids bike, but I also didn't want my son to go home empty handed and end up leaving feeling disappointed. Plus his birthday was coming up and I didn't want him to go the whole summer without having a bike. That's when Greg told me about a trade-up plan that Trek does. So long as we traded in the old Trek kids bike, we would get a $200 discount on the young adult bike. They normally wouldn't do the trade-in program over such a long period in time, but Greg was willing to make an exception. So I called my wife and we agreed. Gabe LOVES his new bike it and rides it everywhere showing it off to his friends! This is exactly why my family and I always stick with Trek and this store because they always take care of us. AND they have GREAT bikes! These are not like the $200 bikes you just buy at your local brick and mortar store and break a year later. You can tell these bikes are built with quality and the people care.
I didn’t purchase any products from the store. But I will have to tell you that the service that I received from the second I made the phone call to the store to ask if they could help me, was awesome.
I talked to Tim, and he told me that they could take care of my bike, and when I showed up, I was treated with kindness and respect. They took care of my repair of my bike tire and gave me some suggestions, for future maintenance on my bike. There was a new employee that help me with the repair of my bike tire and he also took my bike outside and put it in the back of my truck for me. And his name was Gabe. I also talked to Cory about possibly purchasing a bike rack for the back of my truck or my trailer.
Normally, I never bother with surveys, but I will have to tell you I was so pleased with the service from Trek, I thought it would be a good idea to let you know how happy I was.
I have been take 3-4 different Bikes to have work done at this location for years the service has always been great. Team members are all friendly and answer all of my thousands of questions with a smile.
I had a problem with sore hands when riding my electric bike. Trek Macomb worked tirelessly to find multiple solutions to my problem. They truly went above and beyond!
