I got one of Trek's more unique offerings, the Fetch+ 4 and I love it. It lets me keep my kids in the bucket ahead of me while I drive and has a lot of handy features like a drop seat and a CVT hub I didn't know I wanted until I had them.
Honestly, I was a little hesitant at first to buy this style of bicycle since the shop didn't have much experience with the style, but I'm glad I did and I'm glad I bought it from this shop rather than getting one of the other brand's similar style bicycles without a store attached. It has had a learning curve for both me and the mechanics at the shop to figure out, but they have been very diligent about it.
I'd recommend Trek Parmer to anyone looking for a bicycle shop in the area.
You're welcoming atmosphere helps me feel comfortable asking dumb questions. The staff is always very helpful/patient/insightful. This time - the shop guys gave me a critical brake tuning on my new baby - and (this is slightly magical...) - got me in and out on the same day (there are few things finer than getting your bike back from a mechanic/shop on the same day...). Thanks - hope you feel appreciated.
I love my local trek service department. I also love walking into the store due to the friendly atmosphere and people working there.
My only issue with Trek is with the parent brand and them supporting police with bikes. Maybe sell unbranded bikes to cops and maybe I will spend more money at the shop.
