I had an issue with my local bike store. I was a week outside of warranty and was not able to find my proof of purchase (and the LBS was not helpful) but trek took care of me. Everyone I spoke to on the phone and the shop was extremely professional and seemed to genuinely want to get me back on my bike asap. They repaired my bike while I was in the shop and one of the reps got my wife fitted for her bike which we bought on the spot!
