I took my bike in for start-of-season servicing and my wife maybe was going to buy a new bike, certainly do a lot of looking and asking questions. Mike and Oliver were friendly and super helpful. They made us feel comfortable, answered all of our questions, and we never felt rushed or pressured even when the crowds started coming in. They never tried to upsell on the bike, either. I'd recommend them to everyone.

Having decided to purchase an e-bike for the 2026 riding season, I started looking on a snowy, icy day in Jan. at my local Trek store (I own a few Treks). Lucky for me, my salesperson was Patty. I had a lot of questions, and she took time to answer all of them. I found a lovely bike that seemed to meet my needs. I called back in March to check about taking a test ride on my chosen bike. Lo and behold, only 1 in stock in the country (I needed a larger than normal frame!) Theo was right on it. I ordered the bike and it arrived in a timely fashion. When I went to pick it up, Theo suggested a few items that I might wish to purchase. I did not intend to buy them but with his gentle (not pushy) approach, I ended up buying pedals, phone holder, compression pump and a bike rack. Truth be told, informing me about the discounts for new bike purchasers was helping. I hit the Trifecta when I went to pick up my new bike rack. The gentleman who installed my bike rack was Oliver. Not only was he friendly, but he was also super-efficient and knowledgeable about the product. He showed me all of the ways to use the rack. Service can be awful but my experience at Trek Bicycle in Rockville was superb. I forgot to mention the awesome manager, Brenda Ruby. Her store is "well oiled".

Bought my Electra Townie from REI due to getting a big dividend back from them. Meanwhile tech at REI that handed built bike over to me knew nothing about the bike I had just bought from them--could not answer all of my basic questions! Ordered accessories that got delivered to TREK in Rockville and then met Chris. Chris is the most knowledgeable and personable employee I have ever met. He helped me attach my new bike bag and water bottle holder. He answered my questions! He was encouraging and a pleasure to spend time with. I will recommend that all of my friends go to TREK in Rockville and seek out Chris to purchase their next bicycle and accessories!

Chris and Brenda were exceptional! Very patient, answered all my questions and made many helpful suggestions without being pushy. I've been in bike shops where the staff treat you like an idiot if you ask any basic questions. Not Chris and Brenda, they are good people and treat customers like friends. Much appreciated!
