Clear, comfortable store. Professional, knowledgeable staff. I'm acknowledged and asked if I need assistance but, I've never felt pressure or sales abuse while in the shop. All my bike's maintenance needs are done by the inhouse staff with complete communication before and after all work.
The Trek Domane that I rented was solid. Initially got a 58, based on the guidance provided on the reservation website. That ended up being too big, but I came back in and the 56 was available for a quick swap. Good flexibility on the return options - even to the point of being willing to meet my son early in the morning before the shop opened to return the bike.
For future rentals, it would be nice if an 11-36 cassette could be swapped in for the 11-34. I could have used the extra gear for the ride up Big Cottonwood and across Guardsman Pass to Park City. My legs were probably too tired anyway, but I opted not to do Little Cottonwood. I probably would have tried with a 36 tooth option in the cassette.
Trek Downtown always treat you like family. Had a broken derailer that was going to take a week to get part and fixed. Luke had it expressed trip and fixed in just a couple of days so I can get back on the roads.
Thank you!
We have always liked Trek products and are fans. However, the people at the Salt Lake store have been phenomenal; friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to help us resolve every issue we've had. The bikes we have are great, but its the people at the Salt Lake store that make us loyal customers.
