We had just gone to another Trek shop, in Austin, where we bought me a bike. The problem there was that the salesman did not listen to what we wanted for our own comfort, having ridden a long time and knowing what works for our body pain issues. The salesman would not show my husband what he was asking for and so we left with one bike instead of two. That’s when we found the Trek shop in South San Antonio, only 1-1/2 miles or so from Stinson Airport where we park to ride the Mission and Medina Greenway Trails. Wow, what a difference! Jake, manager and mechanic was fantastic!! He listened to what my husband was looking for and why, he understood our needs and pulled out several options to try. He even put on the headset my husband wanted added to the bike he chose for handlebar adjustability and set us up with the kickstands we wanted on both our bikes. The shop in Austin said they didn’t have one for my bike. What a fantastic experience with a genuinely nice and knowledgeable guy!! We truly appreciated the way he interacted with us. We will certainly be recommending the shop and Jake Simmons!! My husband loves his new bike and the experience made us both feel great! That is rare today!

The management and staff are very kind and go beyond in their level of support in explaining the parts that they currently have on site in inventory and their willingness to work with us to order parts that we need to help us get our Electtrathon car running to an optimal level of performance. TREK will be the first place we go to get parts needed to repair and enhance our car and for other cars that we plan to build as we expand our Electrathon Community Program.

From the moment we walked in, they were friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to jump in and help. What could have been a stressful situation turned into a smooth and positive experience thanks to their professionalism and genuine kindness. It’s clear they truly care about their customers and their bikes. Highly recommend this shop if you’re ever in a pinch or just need great, reliable bike service in San Antonio.
