Availability, Accessibility, Affability ( of Staff) and Affordability...4A's.
ALL the Staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and unhurried.
Troy ( who fixed my flat) took time to explain things well.
I had not made a new mountain bike purchase for many years. When my husband and I went into the TREK San Marcos shop we were greeted by store manager Caeley.
Caeley was very friendly and showed us several models of bikes. She was super helpful, informative and very knowledgeable about all of the models and options to choose from. She even researched the bike I wanted that met my needs, then ordered it for me.
This purchase was a significant one for me (Trek Rail 7), and Caeley made the purchase easy and seemless. She also showed me other options such as upgraded flat pedals, handlebar grips, tool kits and tire repair... all of which I purchased.
She was a terrific and we cant say enough nice things about her... AAA+++ Service all the way! Thank you Caeley, for a great buying experience.
The bikes and accessories are all great but it is the customer service that really stands out. The folks that work there are always considerate and more than willing to answer any and all questions you may have.
The staff members are very knowledgeable and very responsive to my needs. I brought my bike in for a new tire, went to lunch, and then picked it up right after.
Caeley was awesome! She walked me through all of the ins and outs of my new bike, and helped me pick out the perfect accessories to get me out on the trail!
I brough in a 20 year old Trek 4500 for a retrofit/tuneup. This bike is my first Trek, and it was gifted to me by a client. This was my only mode of transportation for nearly a year when I first began working with a company in Garland, TX. I rode nearly 7 miles to work and from work 6 days a week through just about every season. Needless to say it has great sentimental value. I test rode a Marlin and a Pro-Caliber. Haven't decided on which I would like more (likely the Pro-Caliber because it has better components). I paid nearly $500 for the retrofit of my old bike. It rides like NEW! That bike has seen me through adventure races in the mid-west, I've biked the Ozarks, the White Tanks Mountains in Phoenix, The Appalachian trail and just about everywhere in between. Everyone I spoke with was awesome from Sarah to John to Gavin (apologies if I didn't get everyone's name right). These folks explained to me the difference in frames, components, dropper posts, etc. I thoroughly enjoyed my time speaking with everyone. No one tried to talk me out of restoring a 20 year old bike, and no one tried to hard sell me a new bike. I really appreciate the care in which they took care of my old bike. I've got half a dozen bikes, I'll be back for sure!
Variety and selection on hand. Love being able to test ride and area provided is ideal for safe and ample test conditions and length of test ride to help in decision making.
Trek San Marcos has been the best place to get my bike serviced and to learn more about bikes! The staff is AMAZING. Always so welcoming and inviting and willing to answer all questions! Caeley Gomez specifically, has been a gem in getting me into biking and the bike community. I love this store!
