Bike is great - my 13yo son is incredibly happy with his new Roscoe 7. Staff was very kind and helpful - even excited for my son. :) Only challenge for us was that after visiting the store to do some research and build the bike/order online with a sales associate, we went home to consider the purchase. Called the next day to place the order was told they wouldn’t allow phone orders. They explained that there would be a fraud concern in taking the order over the phone but wish there was less of a black and white rule on this, since we clearly had been to the store the day prior. We went ahead with the order but having to make an additional trip out to the store was a little frustrating.
From someone who is over our survey culture and believes we are entirely over surveyed strong arming those on the receiving end to always “strive for 10’s” or else and believes you can get more by your returning customers than what you could ever get from a survey…. I felt obligated to complete this survey as a new and future repeat customer at the Schererville store. The staff made a through and through amazing experience and are well deserving of praise! The start of my experience began with a whim stop at the store with no clue what I wanted besides a bike. Barry spent at least 45 minutes with me showing me bike after bike, diligently answering questions, making recommendations, waiting as I test rode a few, and ultimately narrowing my focus to the bike I later purchased. Not wanting to rush my decision I came back several weeks later after doing the online financing and was helped by Clay who like Barry, was friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Bike ordered, delivered, and two more visits for accessories and a car mount. Everything delivered as promised, communication was fantastic, and everyone I encountered at the shop was welcoming, helpful, and great to work with! Over all the “vibe” in the store really felt like the staff are all passionate about biking and their work. Thanks for a great experience!
