Trek/Bontrager products represent good value, with solid design at competitive prices. There’s enough innovation to keep things interesting (Madone’s interrupted seat post, a full suspension gravel/adventure bike) without things getting too far ahead…like say, a proprietary BB. Staff at the Anchorage Trek store are always friendly, knowledgeable about their products as well as bicycle related products in general. They’re active in the larger cycling community as members, participants and promoters of human powered living…with an obvious emphasis on cycling. Anchorage’s Trek Bicycle Store is a great Community Bike Shop, combining amazing people with a passion for bikes and good products. Whether you’re a pedal commuter, triathlete, slope shredder or casual weekend spinner, the Trek store probably has something for you.

The technicians and salespeople at the Trek store really know bikes, and they know how to help you find the parts or service you need. They are NOT trying to sell you some expensive item that you don't really need. On multiple occasions they actually found me a cheaper solution than the one I intended to buy when I entered the store. When I come into the Trek store I am greeted like a friend, not a generic "welcome to Walmart" greeting but a sincere "What can we do for you today Jim?" That is why I come to the Trek store for all my biking needs and that is where I recommend my friends to go as well.

I purchased a new gravel bike on Sunday! I spent nearly 2 hours looking at bikes, test riding, and finally purchasing a bike. The staff were very friendly and happy to answer all my questions throughout my time in the store. I purchased a bike with electronic shifting, and the staff member took the time to show me how to connect the batteries to my phone via an app.
