I was incredibly anxious about traveling with my bike—how to pack it, how to fly with it—and even after watching all the videos and reading all the articles, I still felt overwhelmed. Enter Mark at the Trek Georgetown location. Not only did he patiently answer all of my questions, he gave me thoughtful tips on how to care for and transport my bike. He didn’t just pack it for me—he showed me how to do it myself so I’d feel confident getting it safely back from Iowa. He was kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly generous with his time. While I waited for my Lyft to pick me and my boxed-up bike up, the rest of the team came over to chat, ask about my trip, and share recommendations. The vibe in the shop is friendly and welcoming. Even though there are other bike shops closer to home (locally owned, and cheaper), I keep coming back to this one because the people here are just that good.
