I walked into the store thinking I had a good idea of what I wanted, but after talking with Rob and getting some great information, I ended up with a bicycle that was a much better fit for me. I am now the very proud owner of a Marlin 6, and I can't stop riding it!! With demand being so high for bicycles right now, I had to travel a total of 8 hours to get this bike, and it was worth every second.

I have owned the same Trek mountain bike for over 25 years and when it was time to upgrade I didn’t think twice about what brand of bicycle to turn to. I was incredibly impressed with the appearance of the Trek Store of New Hartford when I walked in for the first time. It was as if I walked into a high-end bike store located in a larger city. The Trek team memebers promptly assisted me and were very knowledgeable with any and all the questions I had. It was clear that they were experienced associates and knew extensively about the products. I walked out feeling confident with my new purchase knowing I got a quality, reliable bicycle for life.
Service! Anyone can buy products through the Internet and get a fair price on products. However, visiting a local shop and talking to its owners and staff provided me with a sense of community and fairness as time passes that Amazon can’t provide. Service, customer satisfaction, going the extra mile is what is important and it’s what Jason and Dave strives for every day.
Products are good, I'm kinda of a Cannondale fan, but service was excellent, everybody was friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere! I would consider switching to Trek just because of how friendly and helpful everyone was. Great job!
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable-not just about bikes but equipment, accessories and suggestions for local trails as well.
I bought a bike seat in the fall but I didn’t have my bike with me. I tried putting it on myself (I should mention that I’m not mechanically gifted) but didn’t like how it felt so I stored my bike for the rest of the season. I took it in yesterday and the same gentleman who sold me the seat last fall installed it for me. In addition, he pumped up the tires and checked the brakes, gears and some other part that I don’t know the name of. He did all that extra stuff to make sure the bike was in good working order which I thought was nice and definitely above and beyond basic customer service.
