After reading the agreement listing all the items that wouldn't be able to be seen I honestly wondered if it would be worth it. Well... yes it was and I'm so glad we went ahead with it. Mark, the home inspector, took off the electrical panel and noticed that some of the wires were a bit melted. This was a potential fire hazard! We would never had taken off the panel and even if we did we would not have know what to look for. Turns out that it's a pretty easy fix! That alone was worth the cost of the inspection.
