First, I would like to say that it is difficult for a customer to judge the value of a lawn service on anything other than the results.... color, no weeds, and thickness. We don't know what is in the formulas, we don't know if it is being put on correctly, and we don't have the knowledge to determine if something else should be done to improve the lawn. We can only judge by the results.... At first, I was concerned that our lawn was not being given the type of fertilizer or weed deterrent needed.... I was concerned that our lawn was not as green as in the commercials or even the lawns in our neighborhood. We have always like our technician, Ethan, and believe he is a true asset to Tru Green.... what we didn't like was the results. Today, I had the pleasure ot speaking to Matt (don't know last name), a service manager. His level of intelligence and knowledge of lawn care was impressive. He explained exactly what was causing some of the browning and predicted exactly how our lawn would stand up to other lawns. This kind of explanation is the kind of explanation all your customers should receive. I do realize that this is difficult and time is an issue, but the confidence he instilled in us, makes us a happy Tru Green customer.... and, we will continue to recommend your service to others. A special thank you also to Ethan. This is not an easy lawn to drop fertilizer on because it is very hilly and steep. He has always been punctual, courteous and thorough. What bothered us was not Ethan or any other technician, it was what was being put on the lawn...now that is no longer bothering us with the time spent today with Matt. Nice job from Customer Service to Field Management.
Service is consistent and the technician always leaves a note stating what was done. This is especially helpful since we have a dog and it's good to know when the lawn has been sprayed. We've seen a real improvement in our lawn's health overall.
