We had a new lawn care specialist today, his name was Josiah Truer. He knocked to introduce himself and explain what he was going to do for our lawn today. Upon leaving he also knocked to let me know what he noticed and what to do to improve our lawn. He did a wonderful job and we are very happy with TruGreen. A few years ago our kid's couldn't even play in the backyard because there were so many dandelions which attracted yellow jackets and wasps. We do not have 1 dandelion in our yard! :) We appreciate our healthy green lawn and even more importantly LOVE going outside without having to worry about getting stung!
I actually have a comment to make. For my service that was performed on 4/8/2017, I'm not sure if enough weed control was spread? Usually when you treat my lawn, it takes care of pretty much ALL the dandelions and pricker weeds, but this year, I am noticing a LOT OF DANDELIONS AND PRICKER WEEDS, (after that treatment) and that is unusual for my lawn since you have been treating it. I was always satisfied before, (it usually took care of pretty much ALL of my dandelions) but this year, I still have a lot of them! Is this normal?
Also, the driver/specialist always parked out by the road (in the past), and his truck did not intrude on our space for our vehicles...this year (new specialist person) parked right up by our garage and blocked our cars! I had to ask him to move his truck so we could get our cars out of the garage! I don't want to hurt anyone or be a complainer, but it just doesn't seem as good of service this year.....I really don't want the new guy to know that I complained, please just gently inform him about where he should park the truck, and check into how much weed control he actually spread or if it was the right type? Maybe my lawn is just extra bad this year and I shouldn't have said anything? Thank you for listening, [NAME REMOVED]
your company is always willing to work with me when I have a special request, like weeds coming up way to soon, or whatever. I have been with you for many years and thanks to your excellent lawn guy, Matt McNeil, I have a lawn that is the envy of my area!! Good company that reacts well to requests (and I own my own business!!) and real good on the lawn service people!
You are prompt. BUT you do not interact personally with your customers. Chris (former Chris) always made it a point to ask you personally if everything was good. You lack the personal contact, and that is missed. It seems as though everyone is lacking the personal contact.
I have grown to know the people that service our yard and trees over the years and they are awesome! They are knowledgeable and always do a good job. Besides that, our grass, shrubs, and trees look great! I can see the difference in our yard from using Trugreen.
The service rep is always courteous and at the beginning of his visit has a pre-meeting with me to discuss the lawn and any problems or concerns I have. At the end leaves a copy of what he did and notes any problems he has observed.
I like to pre-pay the season in March and receive an appropriate discount.
Also if there are lawn problems during the season I can call in and have the rep visit and make corrections - Ex: weeds at no extra cost.
