In the past I have had trouble, not because of incompetence, but because of a lack of consistency of personnel. We have a somewhat peculiar lot line and for a few years it seemed like a new employee came every time. Every time he neglected to do a 50/150 area, which is a half lot we purchased after we put in a line of evergreens. For the past two years the Tru-green has sent the same technician to our house. He knows the property lines and has done a nice job with the application. Our property has many trees, so it is difficult to keep nice grass because of the competition for nutrients and also the shade. However, the problems are not easily solved and I am not expecting Trugreen to grow grass where there isn't enough light. In general, I am satisfied with the service.
The service is scheduled by TruGreen and they just give me the courtesy of a notice when they are going to arrive. I like knowing my trees and shrubs are treated "when" they need it and I don't have to worry about it or make a special contact to schedule the service.
