I do not have to stress no getting out from work early, because my son goes to before and after school program. he is on a safe place, and he likes to go and do not want to miss it.
My child enjoys the YMCA days, always smiling when I come pick her up. And the staff have been very reliable and personable in all my interactions with them. It is a great option for coordinating my work schedule with her school schedule. Thanks YMCA!
My daughter loves the time they give her to be creative and do arts and crafts. Mom loves that she is able to work on homework while attending the YMCA after school program. She leaves there super happy but also asking if she can stay later the next day.
I really love the YMCA and the experience my son has had there. One of the biggest reasons is the teacher she is truly amazing. She is caring and tuned in to the children, but she also doesn’t just let them do whatever they want. When something is not okay, she takes the time to talk to them, explain why it’s wrong, and actually corrects the behavior in a loving and consistent way. I really appreciate that kind of structure and guidance.
The activities they do with the kids are wonderful, and I love how engaged the children are throughout the day. The program is welcoming, the hours work perfectly for our family, and I felt comfortable right away when my son started.
My son has autism, and he often struggles with sensory challenges and with being in a room full of people. The staff not only used the accommodations I provided they also took time to learn new strategies to help him and other children. That meant a lot to me.
When I come to pick him up, he never wants to leave. He loves his teacher, he loves his friends, and he loves the environment. That alone tells me everything he feels safe, supported, and happy there, and I am so grateful for that.
I wish the kids had more opportunities to interact with kids in their grade level that are in other YMCA classes. They have good friends, but they are all split up.
Safe, easy to access program at Shaw Montessori - good for working parents. We only have one child so tuition is reasonble. Families with more than one child may benefit or be more interested in signing up if you offer a sibling "discount" rate.
Staff is great. They have amazing programs for adults and children! We love the kids in the kitchen. Basketball! Ninja Warrior! They have a full Swimming Pool! They offer swim lessons! It helped me feel safe for my kids around water! So many great events that are entertaining and educational! I highly recommend joking the YMCA!
I love that when I get there my kids are always happy and sometimes they do not want to leave.
Staff is great too. If my kids feel safe there then I love this place which I do! :)
The dedicated and enthusiastic staff creates a warm and welcoming environment, fostering a sense of community and connection among the children. They carefully curate an exciting range of toys and activities, from interactive educational games to creative arts and crafts supplies, ensuring that each child has the opportunity to explore and learn through play. From building towering structures with colorful blocks to engaging in imaginative role-playing with diverse costumes, the kids are immersed in a vibrant world of exploration and creativity. This thoughtful selection of resources not only sparks joy but also encourages social interaction and teamwork among the children. My child loves it there!
