Veda has an incredible staff and great stylists. My go to's are Alexis, Fiona, Jade for my blow outs at University Village. I simply cannot live without them on a weekly basis their promotions during Black Friday and other holidays are a MUST!! Their hair and skincare products are amazing. Not inexpensive, but if your skin I sensitive like mine, test them first, and see which ones work best for you. Anne Marie

Since I have gone to this many years, I am greeted by name. Desk employees always ask if I want a beverage, especially appreciated in the summer. Usually my nail care specialist is nearby, but if not, desk employee alerts employee I’ve arrived. Can I please tell you what I don’t like the most at this salon? It’s the high, precarious climb to the chair serving the pedicure bowls. Many years ago, there were comfortable leather chairs offering heat and massage. Apparently those broke. For a few years, employees must help anyone unable to climb the two steep steps on the platform where we sit. Last year I had two knee surgeries so climbing the two steep stairs was challenging. Once you arrive atop the platform, you’re sitting in the equivalent of a dinette chair with no heat or massage and which Pedicurists must grab and slide towards themselves until feet arrive at the bowl. Isn’t there a better way to do this for the safety of the Customer and Employee? It feels like an accident waiting to happen - I envision myself toppling over the porcelain bowl directly onto my Pedicurist. My elderly mother could no longer climb the stairs of the platform. Perhaps this is or may soon be true of others since I don’t usually have anyone younger sitting beside me. Since the manicure and pedicure area is right at the front of the salon, everyone standing at the desk to pay and schedule sees the spectacle. While the salon is very well maintained, it’s nearly time for a facelift. As a long-time customer, I appreciate the opportunity to offer my thoughts.
