I like that I can workout while my daughter attends the karate class and my son can have fun in the childcare. I also like that I can workout with my daughter.
Vickie is such an incredible swim teacher! It's been amazing to see how my little girl has grown as a result of her class. My daughter is always excited to come to swim and talks about what she's learned for the rest of the week. Victory YMCA has a truly phenomenal swim program.
Everyone there is so nice and kind and helpful to this old lady. I mean everyone, staff and members. Ally is my favorite person. She is so sweet and kind to me. She treats everyone the same. I love the old guys in the lobby. My husband being one of them. I wish I could come everyday!! Love the Y!!
We had a great experience and loved Vicky. However, I wish the safety talks were handouts on paper. I don't see any reason why we needed to spend 20% of a 30 minute lesson reviewing information that could have been on a handout. Maybe consider renaming the class, "Swimming and Water Safety" if the kids are going to spend 20% of the class talking about safety instead of swimming. I did love the class, but was disappointed at the amount of time my children spend in the water practicing swimming techniques. I do not plan on signing back up for more lessons, but would recommend them to any friend whose child is looking for an introduction to swimming class.
I took a tour and it was so helpful learning the layout of the building. The equipment was what we were looking for. Pool and locker rooms clean. Can’t wait to get started.
