I participated in Healthy Habits 2 years ago. I'm disappointed that it wasn't available this spring when I I feel I really need a refresher. The presenters were very good--encouraged the participants to speak freely and share their experiences. Gave us great information and the handbook was very helpful.
The instructors of Healthy Habits, Rachel and Emily, are great! Super knowledgeable and friendly. They create a comfortable atmosphere for participants to open up about health challenges and questions that they are facing in their own lives.
The facilitators are amazing and very knowledgeable. I wish I had taken this class when I had first begun my fitness journey. Thank you for the tools to help me with success.
I loved the Healthy Habits group. A sub-group of my original group is still meeting by zoom almost a year later and we've met in person twice. The incremental, non-judgmental class led by Liz and Victoria was wonderful. I'd love a similar strength building habits class.
I took the diabetes program at the Hyde Park Y several years ago & lost 18 lbs and have kept it off to this day.
I also took the “Enhanced Fitness” for seniors thru zoom taught by Liz Hamp My spouse and I took this during Covid and we got stronger, more flexible and lost weight. It was an excellent class too bad they stopped it.
Healthy habits was a good class too.
