I really enjoy my experience at the Weekly YMCA! The Pilates, Power Pump, and yoga classes are fantastic—they offer a great variety for all fitness levels. I also appreciate the access to the pool and steam room, which are perfect for relaxation and recovery. One suggestion that could make the facility even better would be to add a sauna—either indoors or even one of those modern portable outdoor options. It would be a great complement to the wellness amenities already offered. 😊
I like the classes, these days esp. the water classes by Tim Fletcher - and the camaraderie that reigns among the participants. I also love the steam room. If only it were hotter in the morning! My husband loved the e-gym.

I have been taking John's classes since the Y gave reciprocity to members of the Houston Jewish Community Center, after Harvey flooded the JCC. I have enjoyed meeting terrific people from all over the world. (One woman in our class is from Taiwan. She speaks fluent Hebrew and graduated from Tel Aviv University) Most senior members of the Weekley Y are retired professionals -- many were involved in careers at the Texas Medical Center. I am a retired health law attorney: my clients were hospitals and healthcare professionals.
