Your sales staff was helpful and patient when I was deciding which bike to purchase. And they have been knowledgeable and prompt to service my bike when I brought it in.
Brian Deroo helped me pick out a dream bike and was incredibly patient and knowledgeable about what the bikes offered and how they were different. Made a point to not just sell me an expensive bike but make sure it was the right bike for me and I was going to walk away happy that I was making smart decisions. We weighed pros and cons of upgrades vs getting models down and encourage me to make a good decision with my budget. Outstanding service!
Yesterday did my 3rd gravel ride and first with the Checkpoint SL6 and it was amazing! No longer get destroyed in the back of the group needing someone to help me back and was able to really enjoy my first big ride. Looking forward to many more!
West Michigan Bike and Fitness is the closest bike shop to my house. And for that reason I frequent their services. The mechanics there are top notch and not only are they extremely knowledgeable about their craft, but they are also excited to share it as well, which I greatly appreciate as I am somewhat new to the world of biking.
Myself, being a younger fellow who enjoys ripping trails, gains a new injury each ride, and always finishes each session drinking a beer with friends and discussing the trail we just rode; I feel as though the shop itself is a bit disconnected from my genre of bike riding. WMBF seems to be more aimed towards the older crowd that is looking to biking as something to keep them active. Don’t get me wrong, this is not something that will steer me away. Their facility is exquisite, with tall ceilings, clean floors, perfectly displayed bikes, floor to ceiling windows, etc. Personally, I almost feel afraid to touch anything because of how perfect and clean it is.
Overall, I will continue to use their services as long as I live in the neighborhood due to their professionalism and warm welcome whenever I’m having an issue with the bike. But I’m going to make sure that my bike is clean before I take it in!
My new Trek was making a clicking sound with every tire revolution. Some people thought the disc brake needed to be adjusted. the problem didn't go away. One wise older tech guy tightened the rear wheel spokes and that solved the problem. I'm happy with the bike.
