The environment and the entire staff from what I’ve seen since I’ve recently joined. Everyone is friendly with a willingness to assist, guide, in helping their fellow patrons. I personally feel when I’ve been there a caring willing to go the extra mile to everyone who walks through their doors. The one on one correction and feedback I receive from my instructors. I like how my instructors start with the little details and builds up steadily towards the deep end of the pool.

I enjoy the group classes. The instructors know what they are doing. Make it a fun workout. I am glad another evening swim class was added but a third would even be better. Happy that the pool is finally fixed.

I love the smaller feeling of the West Side YMCA. I’ve had sessions for personal trading with Troy and he’s so helpful, encouraging professional. It’s really helped me feel more comfortable going back to the gym and starting all over safely.
