Customization. Michael custom rebuilt a mountain bike for me out of a box of parts I brought home. Turned out exactly as I expected. Couldn’t be happier.

The staff is knowledgeable but approachable. They are honest about what you need and do not upsell you on things you don’t. When they do a repair, the job lasts, and they are fast and efficient. We greatly appreciate everything they’ve done for us, and we will continue to take our bikes there for future needs.

Wheel Base always does a great job for me, no matter what needs doing. They'll order anything they don't have in stock and follow through to make sure it fits the bill.

Client focus assistance, coupled with professional knowledge and a true sense with compassion with bike riding, creates a top notch experience whether purchasing a bike or simply just popping in to look around or ask a question or filling air in the tires. Frederick County is soo fortunate to have such a wonderful bike shop for the community and I’m especially lucky to have found the shop and all the staff!

Very knowledgeable guys. Dropped my junky old single speed road bike off to get it up and working. Great work and quick turnaround. Fair and transparent pricing. Pretty laid back shop. Definitely my go to from now on.

Extremely knowledgeable about bikes of all types and makes. Experts in road, MTM bikes, and eBikes, but also kids bikes. Willingness to spend time with you to determine the bike for you are your child, including the very important fitting. Service was always just what was needed (nothing more) and quick. Service costs were reasonable. I highly recommend this dealer.
