The employees are very helpful with explaining things. I like to fix things myself and your mechanics give me helpful tips in how to do it. I had the new spokes on in no time. I should mention that I was disappointed that two spokes would fail on a 2 and a half year old Trek Domane that cost over $5,000. I know the warranty period is only two years, but I think that for this kind of failure this early, an exception should have been made and it should have been covered. There is obviously something wrong with the parts for them to randomly fail this early. I have had bikes all of my life and my son is still riding my 30 year old bike and I have never had a spoke break. I weigh 200 lbs and I ride on paved trails so it was not the result of a particular incident or from over stressing the bike. It doesn't give me much confidence in the bike. If another spoke breaks we are going to have to figure something out, because those would be defective spokes. I don't want to be left stranded when I am out on a ride or at a riding event!!
