What I truly cherish about my time at the Wild Olive in Morehead City, NC, is the staff. They’re always so warm and welcoming, never trying to be anything they’re not. They’re all genuine, artistic, and articulate.
What I especially adore is my stylist, Laura. She’s my Sensei. I never have to doubt her expertise, and I always know her honesty shines through. She’s the Queen of Sheba in the hair world. Every appointment is a testament to a high standard of excellence that isn’t always so, just because it bears the Aveda logo. This salon is truly above average, and as a 30+ Aveda client from LA to NY, I can say this salon is no exception to the quality and education of the stylists who are masters of their craft. Just book an appointment, feel the vibe, and let your hair become your new lease on life.

Overall the experience was top notch my stylist Holly was absolutely incredible. The entire staff was at the top of their game. They even gave me coffee LOL. And then I learned something new... I didn't have to get my eyebrows waxed anymore I could get them threaded. I'll be back in 3 weeks which is when I booked my next appointment love you guys!!!!

I recently took my daughter to Wild Olive Salon to get highlights, and we had a great experience. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and very accommodating from the moment we walked in. They made my daughter feel comfortable and took the time to make sure everything was just right.
The salon itself is beautiful—very clean, well organized, and has a relaxing atmosphere. You can tell they take pride in maintaining a professional space for their clients. I also noticed that they offer a wide variety of services, which makes it a great place for just about any hair or beauty needs.
Overall, we had a wonderful visit and would definitely recommend Wild Olive Salon to anyone looking for a friendly, professional salon experience.

I loved how easy it was to get an appointment. I loved the shop's ambience. But what I loved most was the stylist, Jade. She was very knowledgeable for her young age. In many cases, women with my hair texture find it difficult to connect with a stylist who understands how to work with my hair type. Jade was on it from the start. I love her!! And I thank her for giving me the confidence to let my hair go au natural. I'm learning to love it. I get compliments all the time. I want to tell everyone about Jade, but I'm afraid that if I do, I won't be able to get an appointment. She's just that good!!

I received a free blowout from a social media post shared by a friend of mine. I was greeted with a friendly smile and welcomed in like it was my home. They treated me like I was a paying customer ( I did tip) My stylist was very nice and she knew what she was doing. I got a blow out she curled my hair. I felt like a million bucks leaving and couldn’t stop looking at my hair in the mirror. Going back in a few weeks to get a cut and color. I was just very pleased with the kindness and care everyone put into my experience. Thank you so much.

The friendliness was outstanding. The immediate attention and expertise. From the front desk to the experience with Jade , it was outstanding. Jade listened and was in tune to my needs and wants. I wanted some products and they were not pushy about selling. They were trying to recommend what would be good for me and not trying to overload me with products I’ll never use. Fantastic time. I’ll be back!!

Holly always takes such great care of me. Besides the fact that she does amazing hair she gives an incredible scalp massage. Holly is also an excellent listener when it comes to knowing exactly what the client is wanting. And the rest of the staff in the salon are always kind and welcoming. 10 out of 10 and will always go back.
